The Easiest Way to Collect Addresses for Holiday Cards

It’s nearly time for holiday cards! Collecting addresses can be a challenge and writing all the envelopes by hand feels even more daunting. Thankfully there are free and easy services available online to help.

With these three steps, you can collect, address and print stickers with less than an hour’s work. Here’s to a simpler holiday season!

Step 1. Set up a Google Form.

Go to forms.google.com to set up a Google Form. When you set it up, make sure you use these fields, because it will make it easier later!

• First Name
• Last Name
• Street Address
• Street Address Line 2 (needed if someone has an apartment)
• City
• State
• Zip Code

Step 2. Send the Google Form to your friends.

Google Forms will let you send it as a URL hyperlink or email people directly from Google Forms if you have Gmail. If you send it as a hyperlink, you can even text the link to people.

Step 3. Use Avery Labels to print your addresses easily.

Avery Labels are amazing and the best printing solution for printing addresses on stickers. Order the Avery labels you want. We like the Avery 5160 labels because a lot fit on one sheet so you don’t have to buy as many. You can order them online (this link takes you to 5260, which works with the 5160 template!) Think about how many sheets you need for all your holiday cards, and also consider making sure you have a couple extra sheets so you can make a mistake when you’re printing.
