A black woman with short hair standing in a field looking in the distance

My body is my strength, my tool.

It is my paintbrush.

It is my canvas, my power, my grace.

I will learn to wait.

I will learn to listen.

I will no longer hide.

I will embrace.

My body is not an enemy or a reason to fear.

It is mountain, forest and trickling stream.

It is as magnificent as it is soft,

And worthy of the highest esteem.

Your body is worthy of honor and care. How do you speak to yourself?
