A picture of a woman seated by a fountain and looking over her shoulder

Eternity’s Time

Half the time
I am not aware
That most of the time
Time is slipping away

With lulls and waves
Wandering and wondering
Where I’m going, what I’m doing

I must forget to remember
Lose track of the hours
And skip into
Eternity’s time

I must remember to forget
The seconds and tasks
And take a few steps back
Leaning forward into
That which is beyond

Eternity’ time
Forgives and finds
Time for the small
Many miracles of the mundane
Making me a miracle too, of this
Very moment
Of eternity
