scarf look

Scarves! I’m a bit obsessed with them, but there is a good reason for my obsession. A scarf is one accessory that everyone can tailor to their personal style. They come in many lengths, fabrics, textures and colors, their styling possibilities are endless.

Scarves add a lot of fun or a dash of fanciness to a simple outfit, so let me show you three ways a scarf can transform your look this fall!

Let’s start with the neckerchief: Use this small silk or cotton scarf to refresh your workday go-to shift dress or button down and pencil skirt uniform. Turn your scarf into a chic choker by simply folding the neckerchief over a few times until it is a flat narrow rectangular shape, then tie it around your neck and tuck in the loose ends. Sleek and classic right?

Next up, the huge blanket scarf: This is the ultimate weekend scarf. It is the last article of clothing needed to finish off a casual yet style conscious weekend look. A stripe or plaid blanket scarf is especially flattering paired with neutral or monochromatic fall looks.

Finally, the classic knit wool scarf: Many of us will end up wearing a classic knit scarf this fall anyway, so why not put a colorful spin on it? Try bold reds or bright neons in this familiar knit to transform a plain outfit into one that pops with color.

Aren’t scarves fun? So, which of these options will you try first?
