- ELIGIBILITY
This sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the United States (defined for purposes of these rules as the 50 states and the District of Columbia) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, and are a follower of Darling Media’s official Instagram or Facebook, or a subscriber to Darling Media at the time of the prize drawing on [December 13th 2017 at 12pm PT]. Employees, contractors, directors and officers of [Alaska Air] (“Sponsor”), of its sweepstakes partner Darling Media or of its affiliates, advertising agencies, promotional agencies, web design agencies or judging agencies are not eligible; also ineligible are immediate family members of any such employee, contractor, director or officer and persons living in the same household of any such employee, contractor, director, or officer. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Entry in the Sweepstakes constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules.
- SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Sweepstakes entry period begins at [December 1st 2017 at 9am PT] and ends at [December 13th 2017 at 12pm PT] (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Winners will be selected from entries properly submitted during the Sweepstakes Period.
- HOW TO ENTER
In an Instagram post share a travel memory, and then tag #iFlyAlaska, @AlaskaAir, and @Darling for the chance to win.
By entering this sweepstakes, you will be providing information to the sweepstakes Sponsor.
- CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
By entering this sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects. You also consent to the use of your name and/or likeness by Sponsor and its affiliates for promotional purposes, including online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Neither Sponsor, its affiliates, agencies or consultants nor any telephone network or service provider is/are responsible for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete transcription of entry information; for lost, stolen, late, or misdirected entries; for destruction or alteration of entries; for unauthorized access to entries; or for any human error, technical malfunction, delay in operation or transmission, lost data, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, communications line failure, computer equipment malfunction, software malfunction, inability to access any Web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction.
The travel authorization (certificate) is valid for flights served by Alaska Airlines, Virgin America, and/or Sky West Airlines flights. Mileage Plan Miles cannot be earned or credited. First Class paid upgrades or mileage plan upgrades are allowed. Connections are also allowed (subject to fare rules) First Bag Free for Visa Signature® Cardholders. The certificate is valid for one year from date of issue with no extensions permitted. The following black-out dates apply: DEC 18, 2017-JAN 2, 2018, NOV 20-27, 2018.. The certificate is void if bartered or sold. If lost, the certificate may not be reissued. (“Sponsor Flights”)
- PRIZE
Twelve (12) total winners will be selected – via Instagram and Facebook posts. Each winner will receive round-trip air travel for two (2), as outlined by Sponsor Flights. Prizes will be distributed respectively to the winner based on random drawing. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Any and all taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize substitution, cash substitution, or assignment or transfer of prizes is permitted, except by Sponsor due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. The prize must be completed by December 13th 2018.
- WINNER SELECTION
Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The drawing will take place on or about [December 13th 2017 at 12pm PT] and will be conducted by Partner or by an independent administrator. The potential Winner will be notified via DM, to the account provided on the Sweepstakes entry. The drawing will be conducted by Partner (Darling Media), whose decisions on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding. At the sole discretion of the Partner, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: (1) a potential Winner’s failure to respond to a notification or email within one (1) days after its transmission; (2) a potential Grand Prize Winner’s failure to provide Partner with satisfactory proof of age, identity and residency; (3) a potential Grand Prize Winner’s failure to validly claim the prize by [December 15th, 2017]; and (4) any other non-compliance with the Official Rules. In the event of a prize forfeiture, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award or not award the forfeited prize to an alternate winner. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for an incorrect entry, bounced-back direct messages, mechanical or technical failure of any kind, or lost, late or misdirected messages. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner.
- GENERAL CONDITIONS
This sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited. Entrants hereby agree that Sponsor, Partner, its consultants, agencies, and employees shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind (including but not limited to damage to computer equipment) resulting from participation in this sweepstakes, downloading, or the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this sweepstakes, including but not limited to errors in advertising, the Official Rules, the selection and announcement of the winner of any prize or the distribution of any prize. If for any reason this sweepstakes is incapable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, strike, act of God, or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor or Partner, Partner reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without obligation or prior notice, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. In such event, Partner may conduct a drawing to award the prize using all eligible entries received as of the time of cancellation, termination, modification or suspension. Partner reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or any other aspect of the sweepstakes.
- PARTICIPANT OBLIGATIONS
By entering, each entrant agrees to defend, indemnify, release, and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities from and against any and all losses, demands, damages, rights, claims, actions and liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to (i) entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or (ii) entrant’s participation in any prize-related activities (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s)). The Grand Prize Winners assume all liability for any injury, death, or damage caused, or allegedly caused, by participating in this Sweepstakes or use or redemption of the prize. Any disputes that may arise hereunder shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the State of California without regard to the conflicts of laws principles of any jurisdiction. Venue with respect to any such disputes shall be had in the state and federal courts of the State of California. All taxes are the responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner, who may receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of the prize, if applicable. Entrants, by participating, agree that Sponsor, Partner, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliated companies, dealers, service agencies, independent contractors, advertising and promotion agencies, web hosting and service and fulfillment providers, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in this sweepstakes.

- OFFICIAL RULES/WINNERS’ LIST REQUESTS
To obtain a copy of these Official Rules or for notification of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: “Travel Memories Sweepstakes” c/o Darling Media, 2701 N. Broadway 3rd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90031. Requests for winners’ lists must be received no later than three months after the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
